It is a climbing plant, also known as thorn tip, Blackberry. The tip of the young sprouts of Silcan, which we collect wild in our region, are eaten. It can be consumed in many different ways. The salad made with olive oil and vinegar should be tried raw. It is a delicious appetizer by adding garlic and olive oil or adding yogurt after it is boiled. It can be fried with onions and accompany breakfasts with the addition of plain or egg. Pickles can be made from Sılcan, which is made with Mücveri, and you can also consume it as tea.
