Design that Nurtures Life

on

Dear Supporter,

While our work continues on our Functional Forest Application lands, we also rolled up our sleeves for the new application land design that our community will realize together. The most important part of the design for us is the design of the community that will sustain our Functional Forests, so we started here first. Trying to understand what and why all individuals participating in design want, to share in the needs that nourish life, and to reflect this partnership on design is 80% of our work. In the social field, agreeing on our vital priorities is the only way to increase our productivity and functionality.

The technical and mechanical side of the job is for a team that agrees on the needs and wishes to find out what to do and how. Today, the knowledge and technology needed to reach a mechanical solution is everywhere. However, without foreseeing the social impact of the solution, the paths taken with purely good intentions can lead to chaos.

Social space in functional forests is not limited to individuals. All annual or perennial plants, trees or shrubs have various functions by nature. Plants work at full throttle only on their own survival, growth, and the continuity of their genetic material, not at first sight interested in the existence of one another. While this evolutionary rule is running at full speed, the functional associations of plants that feed each other's lives emerge. In order to incorporate functions into the design using certain elements, it is very important to research and understand these secret lives of plants. While we can choose a plant for its nutritional, healing, nitrogen-fixing properties, we can also choose it because its properties such as building material, paint, gum, and fiber meet basic needs.

We started the harvest of passion fruit, wild corn fig, jujube and mixed hot peppers, which are found in our application fields due to their healing, nutritional and other functional properties. You can use passionflowers simply with their dizzying smell and taste, with yogurt or milk in breakfast mixes, adding aroma and flavor to your kombucha. Beneath the thorns of the wild corn fig is a surprising simplicity. If you wish, you can dry the jujubes and have your winter nuts ready. Mixed hot peppers that you can use in your salads and meals or in pickles are tender. You can reach our website at www.yasamibesle.com for your orders.

With the hope of establishing partnerships that also feed the social areas of life.
